What's On in August 2008

• May 29 to Sept 27 2008 - Bard on the Beach Shakespeare Festival  - Bard on the Beach is one of Canada's largest professional Shakespeare festivals. Held in Vancouver's Vanier Park, the festival offers Shakespeare plays, related dramas and several special events in two performance tents from June through September. 
   
• The Pirate Festival - Held at Fort York, Toronto, the festival is held on weekends and includes music, comedy and entertainment.
   
• 21 to 31 August 2008 - Victoria Fringe Theatre Festival  A 12-day event that features live comedy, drama and dance from around the world.
