  • Throughout July 2010 - Bard on the Beach Shakespeare Festival - One of Canada's largest professional Shakespeare festivals. Held in Vancouver's Vanier Park, the festival offers Shakespeare plays, related dramas and several special events.

  • 1 July (Thursday) 2010 - Canada Day (Public Holiday) - Celebration of the anniversary of the formation of the union of the British North America provinces in a federation under the name of Canada.

  • 30 July to 2 August 2010 - The Icelandic Festival of Manitoba is the the second oldest continuous ethnic festival in North America. Events include live music, rides, a street parade, living history demonstrations, the McMahon Mile Run, children's entertainment, and more.
