  • Celtic Colours International Festival - An award-winning Cape Breton Island-wide celebration of Celtic culture, covering nine days of music and culture, workshops and exhibitions.

  • interFEAR Arts Festival  - Set against the backdrop of the Halloween season in Edmonton, the festival delves into the nature of fear with theatrical, visual and musical offerings.

  • Detroit Free Press Marathon The marathon, half marathon and team relays offer an international course crossing the US and Canadian border twice via the Ambassador Bridge and the Detroit-Windsor Tunnel (the only underwater international mile in the world). In addition to the international course, participants will experience the true spirit of Detroit passing through Corktown, Mexicantown, Belle Isle, Indian Village and Greektown before finishing on the 50 yard line of Ford Field, home of the 2006 Super Bowl XL. This years marathon will feature more than 26 entertainment stations, 50 spirit stations and aid stations at every mile.
