What's On in September 2010

  • 3 June to 25 September 2010 - Bard on the Beach Shakespeare Festival - One of Canada's largest professional Shakespeare festivals. Held in Vancouver's Vanier Park, the festival offers Shakespeare plays, related dramas and several special events.
     
  • 4 September (Saturday) 2010 - Calgary Highland Games - Run by the Calgary United Scottish Games Association, the annual event was first held in 1913 and this year includes competitions, demonstrations and entertainment.
     
  • 5 September (Sunday) 2010 - Canmore Highland Games - This Alberta festival is presented by the Three Sisters Scottish Society and features non-stop entertainment and loads of competitions.
     
  • 6 September (Monday) 2010 - Labour Day Public Holiday - Held on the first Monday of September.
     
  • 8 to 19 September 2010 - Vancouver Fringe Festival - Unregulated, untamed, unnaturally tasty theatre. Every year, close to 100 theatre groups and performers from across Canada and around the the world perform throughout Vancouver in diverse venues - from theatres to garages to a moving Aquabus.
     
  • 24 to 26 September 2010 - Canadian Deep Roots Music Festival - Celebrating home and heritage through music, dance and stories. The festival blends the music of the Annapolis Valley's founding cultures - Mi'kmaq, Acadian, African-Nova Scotian and British Isles - with modern roots music from across North America and around the world. Wolfville, Nova Scotia.
     
  • To be confirmed 2010 - Langley Good Times Cruise-in - The streets will come alive with classics of all sizes, shapes and colours and the people will flock by the thousands to relive memories and appreciate the care and detail that has been put into this amazing collection of automotive history and nostalgia.
     
  • To be confirmed 2010 - Nova Scotia International Air Show - Held at Yarmouth Airport, Nova Scotia, the show includes static displays, markets and ground and air displays.
     
  • To be confirmed 2010 - The Pirate Festival - Held at Fort York, Toronto, the festival is held on weekends and includes music, comedy and entertainment.
     
  • To be confirmed 2010 - Canada's Largest Ribfest at The Waterfront at Downtown Burlington. Take advantage of Spencer Smith Park by the water, fun, sun, kid's stuff, giveaways, great music, and most importantly - taste some of the best ribs in the world!
